Post-Wedding-Reception Reception

Because we had such an itty bitty wedding and it was out of town, we unfortunately could not invite all of the people important to us and our families to our wedding. Thanks to Jonathon's grandma Genie we were able to celebrate with a lot of those important people just two weeks after our wedding at a second reception she hosted for us this past weekend.

Can you believe it has been 2 weeks already? I really can't. Last week our bank teller asked us when our wedding was and I was like, oh, a couple weeks ago. Jonathon turned to me and said BABE, it was only one and a half weeks ago, you are crazy! I guess time really does fly when you're having fun. :)

ANYhow, Genie's second reception for us was a great excuse to get dressed up, spread the celebration out, and to give our leftover wedding favors another run. We really had such a beautiful time.


The party was the first time I got to meet some of Jonathon's family friends that I have heard a lot about but never met in person. They were all so sweet and gave us so many hugs, kisses and good wishes. Plus, there was sushi. Mmmm sushi.

I think Jonathon was a bit excited to cut this one all on his own. DAMN my husband is god looking!



Because we are skipping town soon, it was important to us to have the chance to grab a drink with one of our good friend's Dave after our second reception. We had way too much fun talking and reminiscing.
