Easter & Anniversary Weekend Recap

When we got married three years ago, our wedding day also happened to be Palm Sunday and the following Sunday was Easter.  It has been fun every other year to celebrate both our anniversary and Easter during the same week and it has also been fun in off-years to celebrate the two almost a month apart.  All this is to say, here are some lovely photos from this past weekend when the sweets and I celebrated both our wonderful Anniversary and Easter.  Enjoy!

We spent part of the weekend out at Downtown Disney taking in the sites

We may have been inspired in the Harley Davidson store

Aint no love like red neck love

The Easter bunny left me lilies AND a basket.  My day was so made.

Look who we saw over the weekend! CELEBRITY SIGHTING

I baked a pineapple upside down cheesecake and it was TASTY and also made my stomach hurt (evil dairy)

After living in Otown for 3 Easters we finally decided this would be the year to go to a sunrise Easter service at SeaWorld.  We definitely weren't dissapointed, though this is about 1/4 of the line to get in at 5:45 in the morning.

We had great seats, beautiful weather and even better company

Watching the sunrise and singing... not a bad way to start the day :)

Pat Williams, the founder of the Orlando Magic led the service and made a few John Wooden references.

I had a skywriter send a special anniversary message to my sweets: I Love JF.  JUST KIDDING, but I did take credit for whoever spent the cash to have this written out :)

For our actual anniversary night, Jonathon took me to Seasons 52 and we pigged out.  SO delish.  This is a selfy fail but the last time we went to Seasons was for J's 27th birthday when we moved to Orlando in April 2010 so we had to take a photo in the same spot 3 years later. :)

8 years together and I he still gives me butterflies.  Love that smile.

I would've tried to eat all of these but as it was, one of the canolis was all it took to put me over the edge.  I was so done.  SO tasty.

Of course one of the best parts of Easter falling in March is that the entire weekend gets capped off with both March Madness AND opening day of baseball if you get the timing just right.  It was a fantastic weekend all in all!
