It's almost Friday (instant mini-dance party!), the weather was GORGEOUS on Teeny's and my walk last night ANNNNND I get to see my Pops this weekend!!! WOOOOO!

Crafteroos

Last weekend, I bought things. I blame it on this:


What'd I buy? Things for crafting. Besides decorating our guesty room, I also finally found a shadow box that I liked enough to turn into a WEDDING shadow box. Doesn't hurt it was 50% off BABY! Side note: everytime I say/hear/write the word shadow box I think that is should be whispered SHADOW BOX and I think about my brother's Little Weblows shadow box which he (or my mom?) made in like 5th grade and then proceeded to "decorate" with throughout his entire life, probably to this day. Oh, he'll be 30 in like 2 weeks. NBD.


Yea, so about that wedding sssssshadowbox. I plan to put in said box one of our invites, one of our programs, a piece of my bustle that I kept, Jonathon's boutonniere, some of the charming charms I purchased for 50% off and then some at JoAnnys and the piece de resistance... my mini reception veil as seen below.


Awwww, you can swoon later when I complete my shadowbox (shhhh) and show it to you. What the freak is a better combination than weddings and crafting? Riddle me that one.

Guest Room Game Plan

Happy Monday! Did you have a wonderful weekend? Ours was a pretty lazy one but there was a bit of re-decorating to be done, so that was exciting.

My mother in law sent me this awesome life magazine for my bday and it couldn't have suited our plans to re-decorate the guest room more. Isn't the frame so cute? Michael's frame sale plus coupons; man I love saving money!!!

















We were originally going for a generic beachy type theme but with this new art and this throw back material I found for $6 a yard (plus coups) that could make super cute pillows or curtains... Now I'm leaning toward a vintage beach cabana theme. I know I'm weird, just go with it.

I originally scoped these "Parisian" curtains at BB&B and I am still a bit in love with them:


And I want this pottery barn washed velvet quilt real bad:


Wouldn't that all make for a super cute guest room? Yea, I think so too. Oh and Teeny is precious btw:

Happy Memorial Day Weekend to ya. Is being back at work on this beautiful Wednesday as hard for you as it is for me?
