Eating Around the World

While my mama was in town last week we got the opportunity to do something we have both ALWAYS wanted to do... eat, drink, laugh and take pictures all the way around the world!  My mom just so happened to be in town during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival so we spent the day together traveling the world and noming on some seriously grub food.

I have been very lucky to go to Epcot previously but never during the F&W Fest and my mom has wanted to visit since Epcot opened.  We had such a blast eating, drinking, going on rides, checking out a Gin Blossoms concert (!) and being goofballs.

If you ever have the chance to go to the F&W Fest I highly recommend it.  We weren't really sure how it worked but you basically sample small "bites and sips" from 30 - 40 food stands of different countries and cultures.  The bites are smallish portions so you can walk and eat at stand after stand and you never really feel stuffed.  We MIGHT have had a few drinks too...  During F&W there are also all kinds of cooking demonstrations and wine tastings but we just went straight for the food and drinks, no lessons necessary.  All in all it was a pretty perfect day.  For some reason blogger hates me so these photos are backwards but its sometimes fun to start with the end in mind.  My instagram photos of our Epcot adventure are also on their way soon...  ENJOY!

Happy Birthday Ellie Bellie

Good golly where does the time go?  My little sis turned 8 years old yesterday!  :o  OH MAN when did that happen?

Just like her big sis, she went to the Olive Garden for her birthday dinner.  Great minds think alike :)

Happy Girl

Someone is a happy little lady this week.  I'm not sure if it's the cooler weather, the approaching home opener against FIU, the GIANT coffee I am enjoying this morning for free (see, being a starbucks junkie pays off!), or the fact that we are one day closer to CHRISTMAS today than we were yesterday, but I am a little giddy.

Here's a few bad cellphone shots to share some of the things that are making me smile:

Being able to watch my hubby do his thang on tv with friends, even when he is in Ohio

UCF and Wisconsin on the same screen in my ESPN app!!!!! :)

Getting my hair cut and adding some fall lowlights - Florida weather be damned, I will celebrate fall

Cooled off nights mean long walks with my best buddy :)

UCF's Sand Hill Cranes using the cross walk to cross the street!!!!!!!  What is cuter than that?

Miss Ashlyn's 1 Month Shoot

Guess who turned one month old last month???  Sweet baby Ashlyn!

Ok, I know this set took me a while, but I've been a litte busy editing 350 photos to perfection, completing three international Etsy wedding orders, starting a new semester at work, taking two grad classes just because, not training for a 5k (hahhahahahah, oops), catching up with friends, being a mom to a 4-legged lovebug OH and being super cheerleader wife because... football season started!  Did I just exhaust you?  Yea, I'm pretty tired myself.

The past 6 weeks has really been a blur but hopefully things are settling down.  Here's hoping for more baby Ashlyn time, yoga time, time for baking pumpkin deliciousness, time to watch college football with friends and not rush off after to work on anything, time to zone out to Tia and Tamera and Eden Eats (yes, both make excellent photoshopping background noise) and time to enjoy the fall weather with my favorite s-s-s-silly dog.  With all of that said, I am so happy to finally reveal the beauty that is... Ashlyn Elizabeth at 4 weeks.  Enjoy!
