Wedding Craft Purchases

We did it! We spent real money on real wedding paraphernalia! That means this thing is ON BABY! We bought the materials for our save the dates (yes!) AND we bought our invites (I know it's early but we liked them so...) and all the crafty goodness to make them our own.

Now we're on a roll and can't stop spotting crafty things we want to buy and make such as:

Pretty paper flowers from Paper Source. Actually we just want to buy floral tape and wire and find a free template for the petals online...

My beautiful friend Yumiko works for Mr. Max Azria of BCBG so I have been scoping out their coral bridesmaidesque dresses online. Maybe we'll go shopping together soon :)

Budgetastic Wedding E-Zine

I have a confession: I hate the word 'zine. Now that that's out of my system, I can introduce to you a really neat online magazine for the budget savvy bride: http://www.utterlyengaged.com/

It's not only pretty to look at while you're bored at your office job (achem, not me) but it also has an awesome real brides' budget breakdown section that makes me feel worlds better about our own wedding fund allocation. Don't I sound professional?

In their words this mag is "Inspiring budget savvy brides with style." Oh, yea they are!

Time Machine Wedding

I'm pretty sure these people hopped on their time machine, went into the future, took pictures of our wedding, came back to 2009 and used all of our ideas in their LA wedding at the Smog Shoppe. I mean come on... pink-orange, ivory, grey and green? vests?! palm trees?! peonies?! polaroids?!

At least we know it all looks pretty dang hot together, right?!
